Competed against that car this year at FS and it is a amazing bit of kit. Just goes to show what great engineering minds can do when given the budget to fufill those ideas.

There's a few of the Liverpool Uni's Formula Student cars parked outside my office in the Engineering dept. We do quite well at it I believe, despite the huge disparity in budgets between us and some of the other universities with massive amounts of funding. Not sure what the acceleration times are for our cars, (600cc bike engines) but must be fun to drive though.
