Trying to log in to advertise my car, it doesn't recognise my username or email. Fine, I'll create a new one. Try to use my normal gmail account, 'Sorry you already have a classified account using this email address', fine, request password reminder, 'email address not recognised'. Piece of ****

This is after I checked this feedback section and email Katie as requested on Sunday, nothing, no response. If it was any other car, I'd go to the other major websites.

TVR T350 if anyone is interested.

I'm with you in this, always been a great site however the classified section has been struggling since the last couple of changes, I never confess to being a geek but surely this is missing out on a great opportunity to bring petrol heads together when buying and selling?!

Seems there have always been people having problems with it. It makes it more infuriating when they suggest you email someone specifically, and you get no response.

Apologies James, your email will be dealt with as soon as possible. It seems a few days annual leave leads to a small mountain of emails. I'll get it sorted for you by 5pm today.

The issue with login across forum and classifieds will also be sorted in the coming month(s), so please bare with us.

I cannot find your email unfortunately, but I've got the gist of the issue from your post.

To confirm, you must log into your classifieds account with the username RacingJames. At the moment, any classified user with a username, must use the username to both login and request a password reset.

As confusing as it is, ignore the request to reset with a email address and request it with RacingJames. It would be easier if you reset the password to match that of your forum account too, so you have a single sign on across the whole site.

OK, have I made a mistake by trying to log in using RacingJames1 (notice the 1), my forum name?

I just used RacingJames (no 1 on the end) and it worked.

If it was me being a moron, I apologise, but it still seems confusing.

Just to be clear, I can log in now. Thank you.
