So on our quest to find out why cylinders 3 and 4 aren't firing properly we decided to have a look at the injectors, they were both a little clogged so hopefully problem solved.

Unfortunately the seating for injector no.3 basically disintegrated as we got the injector out.

Google has revealed no replacement parts and we could probably make a replacement seating with a bit of trial and error but I'd rather get a genuine part so does anyone know where I could get one/ randomly have something lying around that I could purchase for some beer tokens?

This kit seems to have just about everything needed. I'm about to buy a set to refurb one of my spare sets of injectors. If it's the cast injector holder you are after then I have many spare bits as I've just bought a second complete spare EFi set-up with inlet manifold, injectors, plenum, sensors and loom for £23. You just cant have two many spares!

I think Rimmer Bros (amongst others) sell the square-section seating rubbers...

Monkeyking, you are in luck.
I have recently replaced all 8 injector seals for mine.
Like yours, my rubber o rings were completely shot !!!!

The only place to get the correct ones are from Mr Injector, speak to Steve on 07860350390
.Very helpful chap I found
You have to ring them though as otherwise they may send you the wrong ones.
They have to have flat sides if you know what I mean.

Hope this helps

Hi guys thanks for the info, it's the injector seating/holder rather than the o-rings for the cologne v6 that I'm after. May give "mr injector" a call tomorrow.

Edit: Reckon this has what I'm after along with a few extra's, was planning to replace alot of the seals and gaskets anyway.

Hi mate...Its worth doing..Especially the inlet manifold and trumpet gaskets, The inlet manifold can be a bit of a bugger as its known to leak from the cork end nearest the distributor, Even with plenty of sealant..
Preparation is everything...smile
