Creditor Lists

Quick query for anyone who may know - who is entitled to see a creditors list?

A notice to creditors has been placed in the gazette for someone I am aware of from a few years back who had a certain reputation for being quite dodgy and the list would be interesting to read / me being nosey. There will be a list of creditors, but who can gain access to it?

I have emailed the solicitor acting on it who has basically said as I am not a creditor I cant have a copy as I have no claim.

Any ideas or should I stick my beak away?

If you know someone else who may be a creditor then ask them to request the list, or offer to buy the rights to their debt and submit a claim then request the list.
