Cayman. Which one to avoid problems ?
Discussion
Had made an appointment to view a 2006 Cayman 3.4S when the owner, a Trader, informed me although the car has FPSH and just 57K, it has a bore scoring problem which needs to be addressed - hence the price of £13995.
I started some research so went here ..... http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/used-reviews/porsche... This reveals nothing at all goes wrong with the first generation Cayman.
I then, amongst others, tried this thank goodness, Thank-you Pistonheads ..... http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyI...
So, apart from Parkers Guide completely missing the obvious well recognised and documented issues, am I right in thinking I have to get a facelift 2009 to overcome this and the IMS Bearing and RMS (rear main seal) Not sure I can stretch to a 2009 car is the main problem.
