Monaro Double DIN Stereo surround

Had an aftermarket stereo in my car for almost a year now, and bought the surround off ebay (a Connects2 device iirc) and I have never been happy with the finish. It is rough and doesn't match the OEM matt black that surround the switches for the climate control etc.

So on the GTO forums I find a company that makes a stereo surround for our cars from a company called Scosche. Ordered one from ebay US, took a little over a week to arrive and although it has the same cheap plastic brackets (luckily I have metal ones from the group buy last year), the finish on this surround is as close to OEM as I've seen, without the hassle of painting what is essentially an overpriced piece of plastic.

I'll post some pictures up later, however I'm pleased with the finish.
