Vantage clutch replacement-disappointed

My AM Vantage N400 SS went for its annual service at Wilmslow and I was informed of high clutch wear
Having heard good reviews about the twin clutch plate and lightened fly wheel by Bamford Rose I decided to take the plunge
Several emails were send for more information-none were answered
Made few telephone calls-no one answered
Disappointed.I am interested to hear the experience of others

I think Mike's in the US...(I think until the wknd) I was in there Monday and Adrian sorted some stuff on mine for me.. definitely worth the persistence.. they're very busy because they're bloody good :-)
I'm sure when Mike's back he'll be in touch to book you in

Mike has been away in the States on business, I also left a few messages which he wasn't able to
pick-up. However, he's just got back and I spoke to him late this afternoon, keep trying and I
am sure you won't be disappointed.

You could always get the same thing done at Appleby engineering , James is the person you need to speak too , they answer the phone...even when they are busy...

Sadly Rob, this kind of rant makes you look a little foolish, when you could not praise them enough. They sure have their faults, like everyone, engineering is not one of them.

You must learn to stop blowing hot and cold or no one will want to trust anything you say. Said by a friend by the way... If I thought you were a knob, I would give you the other barrel also

Sorry that Rob has decided to let his feelings out a little but things have been stewing for a while. I don't want to say too much as M @ BR is very quick to go legal so I don't think we will say too much here. However, endorsement wise, BR do some great mods and some very clever work, the provisos I would advise are:

1 They are great to deal with if you pass their door every day like WIllIam does

2 They are great to deal with if you have lots of patience like Mikey does

3 Generally speaking probably best not to have mods/enhancements done if your car is still under Aston warranty and theres a chance you might want to sell it during that warranty period

On the basis of you showing your car in front of their stand at Burghley your comments seem a bit odd to say the least and as for item 3 that surely would come as a No sh*t Shirlock moment!
I am sure most on here hope you enjoy your Porker when it arrives but the underlying tone of the comments come across as sour grapes now you have chosen to move on.
