These are getting really annoying now. Popping up over the page and audio starting without clicking on them. Pop ups I can just about life with but having the audio start like that is not on, chaps. Think Sky are the culprits

Can you give me a screenshot if it happens again please? I can then forward it to the relevant people to be shot/ killed slowly hehe

Ads should absolutely not be playing audio without any interaction from you.

I would have thought that they have either been shot so many times that they are dead. or that nobody cares....

Those sky video adverts are screwing the surfing experience as they down load..

Pages are freezing and scrolling is becoming an issue.

Warning: I have now removed the PH homepage from my "favourites" list. I only go direct the forum now, the home page content simply isn't worth the intrusion anymore. Sorry about that.

(and PS, if you deface the forum in the same fashion, it'll be adios amigos from me.........)

As I said in another discussion on this matter, I try to avoid using adblock as I appreciate that advertising is a valuable source of revenue for sites like this, however, I recently installed it at work as the intrusive ads were annoying me so much. It's not such a problem at home as I have a massive screen, but I've just installed it there too as I've seen that stty Npower ad one time too many. I couldn't give a flying fk what is fashionable in the world of advertising - I don't want it shoving in my face.
