I had a difficult experience with the same vendor.

I returned a faulty gauge to him that I had purchased from his eBay store and he returned me a replacement which was also faulty.
I returned that and asked for a refund which after many months and many reminders never materialized. In the end I had to resort to legal action to get my money back.

just managed to get a few hrs today to start wiring the gauges up. There speedy cable ones with the all plastic housings but they fitted the classic cobra cro bezels for me for a more classic look.

biggrin

Does anyone know the size of the aperture for a std type push button style radio. I am going to buy one of those old looking new things that look like an old 2 knob push button but want to get the dash into trimming next week??

This place does really nice restored period radios adapted to take an MP3. The prices are good and the owner is extremely helpful - a real enthusiast. Aperture sizes shown for each radio.

I think I will go for the retro but digital modern version… ever since the govt sold off analogue frequencies and made a pocket of cash the radio reception in our area is extremely poor. We literally cannot get crackle free FM radio until we get into the Tyne valley at Hexham from the tops!! I guess its what they call progress. The old Beckers and Blue spots are lovely but the car doesn't warrant being that authentic.
