Interior lights help please.

Hi Guys.

When doors are open, noticed today that interior lights do not come on, but i can turn them on manually if i want to.

I don`t think iv`e noticed this before.

Is there something i need to reset or

Could be the door switch, seems to be quite a common fault.

They only come on when its dark. Wait a few hours and test again.

What car?

VXR8 interior lights only come on when you open the door and the auto lights sensor detects that it is dark enough.

as said above. if get in car outside the unit the int lights don't work, back the car into unit, auto lights come on and int lights come when open door opened. they will only work when the auto light sensor will put the headlamps on ie low light or dark

Also, no light in glove box or centre storage, is this correct, or am i not looking in the right place
