By all accounts this isn't the first time it's happened over Lossie either, some wag having created one overhead Lossie for an AOC visit in the late 70's

Also, seems to have been a popular pastime for Hunter pilots back in the day......

Like I said, it wouldn't be the first time it had been done if deliberate, but it may well not have been in this case, we probably won't know until someone owns up a few years into the future once out of the service....
