Michelin PS3 vs Goodyear Eagle F1 A2
Discussion
Looking to get a new set of tyres for the Clio as the Kumhos that are on it are not overly impressive.
One of these two tyres will be the choice. Price is the same so that's not part of the equation. Reviews would generally slightly favour the Goodyear but what about subjectively?
I had the Goodyears on a previous car and was impressed but I'd be curious if anyone has tried both tyres on the same car?

I haven't had both tyres on the same car, but...
I had Eagle F1's on my fiesta, great wet and dry grip, but quite soft. I ate through the fronts as fast as a set of T1R's.
Currently running Ps3's on the civic and they're great. Just as much wet and dry grip as the goodyears, but they last much longer, and i pretty sure they're quieter.
They're both progressive tyres that handle well on the limit.
I'd go for the Michelin's, they came with pilot exalto's, apparently designed for the Clio, but they don't make them anymore, with PS3's being the next best (better) thing.

I had Assy 2s on my Focus ST, and replaced them with PS3s as they were recommended to me by someone, and when I had them fitted I needed new tyres at short notice and they didn't have Assy 2s in stock.
The Goodyears felt better, with far more feedback and steering feel. The PS3s offer marginally less grip in the dry, but seem better in the wet, and are superb through standing water. As a dedicated summer tyre, I'd pick the Assy 2s (and I'll be buying them next, and switching to winter tyres for the cold months), but if I wanted a single tyre for the year I'd go for the PS3s for their wet handing.
The most recent Evo tyre test had the Assy 2s a few places higher than the PS3s.

Just the sort of comparison I was after. The car in question will be used for fun most of the time so all else near enough equal, feedback and steering feel are a priority. When I purchased my ST170 years ago it came with PS3's, when they needed replacing I changed them to the then newly launched Goodyear Assy 2's and have never used a different summer tyre since! Earlier in the year I was travelling over Bodmin moor on the main dual carriageway in extremely heavy rain, drove over one of the many blind crests on a bend to find a BMW 3 series facing the wrong way in my lane! The goodyears saved my bacon that day!The Goodyears felt better, with far more feedback and steering feel.
