The Ute rocks.

Picked the Ute up from Monkfish this morning, after a service and a couple of other bits were done.

It now rocks on tickover, as if it has a misfire, but flies along as if it has a couple of extra cylinders.

I guess it's due to them deleting all of the DOD hardware, and the re-map, though it would have been rude not to add one of their little magic cams while they were doing the rest, so we did.

Thanks to Roger, Andy, and their staff for delivering exactly what we wanted, and slightly cheaper than the original quote.

Now I just need to get a slot with Charlie to get the numbers that are so important to some on here, then that will have to be it for this year.

Do you have "before" figures already from your intended dyno so you'll know how much you've gained?

Yes, I'll be using Charlie at SRR, and already have two readings from there.

Fingers crossed, it is coming back to me on Wednesday / Thursday in this coming week. A list of many small things, but hopefully it will now be sorted once and for good. Long story short, I was a reason why a few things kept happening. Made a manly decision. Left it to professionals and hoping to enjoy it soon. Especially that I turned down a potential buyer and been quoted £400pa all mods included for insurance this year!

But I will shush for now and not steal your thunder for now. Will open my own thread once all is good and back.

Anyone how long it would take to get to MF by public transport and what the nearest station is?

I bet that goes well now ! It flew off the line at TR and would be VERY quick on the 1/4 if you get decent traction.

I'm going to 'phone him tomorrow, and see if he's dyno'ing on Saturday, as I also have to pop over to Sarge 4x4 and pick up some tyres. If that all works, I might even pop down to see Preciousmetal at Elite Cars, to pick up the Kent calendars. Some of that plan has just got to fall apart.
