Lupo lights issue

I have lupo lights in my new 450 chim and they fit the car well, the issue I have is that the builds don't seem to fit in the Lupo lamps. The problem is when the bulb is in and you secure it with the retaining wire it does not hold the bulb tight and this means they don't light the road properly. Which bulbs should these have?

Can't remember which bulbs but they are standard and fit well.

are you sure that they are fitted correctly?

Thanks phased, I think they are fitted correctly can't see that you can get it wrong but I will check. It's almost like the ring around the bulb isn't think enough to be tight. Would h4 be written on the bulb somewhere?

Definitely h4.
Should be written on the casing. They have two filaments in the bulb.
Can't remeber there being an issue when I fitted mine.
Are the genuine OEM headlight units?

Thanks smaller How would I tell if they are genuine vs units? I didn't fit them so I'm not 100%

I'd have thought the wire clip should have more than enough "spring" in it to hold the bulb in whether OEM or cheap copy?

I'm not saying that it is a known problem with non oem lupos. It was just a thought.
Some of the cheap ripoff lights have various issues.

Look for either magnetti or Bosch on the lens cover.

Have you a receipt in your service history file when you bought the car to show who fitted them?
