The bloke I bought my car off said "they're all like that" a bit too often and I really thought the wobbly mirror would be one of them. it's just crap and really off putting.

LincsCerb kindly put me onto the Pug 205 clip, but that made no difference. Then I found reference in an original review article saying it really was a common problem...

Instead I had a hunt around eBay and bought a secondhand Pug 106 (& others) mirror for a tenner. It's not quite as low as the original and the front roof rail does obscure the view a little but the vibration has gone completely.

Has anyone found a surefire way of getting rid of the wobble, or do you a) put up with it, b) fit a different stick-on mirror under the origial mount c) have a cross reference that goes in the right place and doesn't wobble?

Hi sorry the clip didn't help.
Does your mirror have the trim that covers the plastic clip. Mine fits really tightly and only wobbled as 1 side of the clip had broken off but would wobble around though if the trim was missing as that seams to provide a lot of support.

Hi, yes mine is the one with the clip-on cover. The fit is really poor.

Something doesn't sound right then, mine is a struggle to slide over the mount on the windscreen it's so tight.
I had to cut down the new clip slightly so the trim would fit over it properly before I could attach it to the windscreen. Maybe something is just not fitting as it should.
