Hi I am looking to purchase a DB7 but need to fit a wheel chair in the boot.

I'm about 70mm short on depth.

Can anyone advise as to what is behind the lining in the boot against the back seats?

Can I cut into this to create more room?

Regards

The standard fuel tank is located behind the back seats, but it could be possible to remove it to give you the extra room you require If the car was converted to solely run on LPG, installing the LPG tank in the space under the boot floor where the spare tyre is.

Or remove original tank and keep or sell and have a smaller tank fabricated to allow for a custom fit of the chair.

It would take quite a bit to re-engineer the tank. It has two fuel pumps inside, swirl pots and an external breathing system. Some of the plumbing for the charcoal canisters runs behind there too..
