I had one of these a few years ago and the V6 petrol was about 30k I think. This looks like a real bargain for a new car? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/a...

But it's not a 'new' car. They stopped making these in 2011, so the year can only be a typo. I would also guess the mileage is 50,000 not 50 miles.
That definitely looks new to me. No wear on the steering wheel or gear knob, the car looks immaculate. It's also in 8C red! thegreenhell said:

Might be new.Alfa have a bit of history with this sort of thing. Years back Alfa produced a load of 156's for the Malaysian market and for some reason the deal never went through and so they came here, being a RHD market, and went straight into their used approved program as they stopped selling new 156's a few years previously.
I *think* they were 57 plate cars.
Edit, found one! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2014...
2007 car. stopped selling new in 2005.

Might be a new reg but it's still, underneath, corroded as much as any other 4-5 year old car. The V6's stopped being manufactured in 2009 or early 2010 IIRC. And no 159s have been made since 2011 as Marchionned decided to move Panda production back to Pomigliano d'Arco, to placate the unions over Italian cars being made abroad, and, in doing so, killed of the 159 prematurely.

Why would it be as corroded as any other 4-5 year old car? If it has only done 50miles it clearly hasn't travelled many wet/icy salted roads. If it's been dry stored I'd fully expect it to be as new underneath too. valiant said:

Yes and I'm sure I remember reading something similar about 159s on alfaowner, possibly South Africa this time.Alfa have a bit of history with this sort of thing.
