M3 speed cameras

Hi,

Just wondering if the average speed cameras after you leave the 50mph zone on the M3 towards London, do anything? I think I saw signs saying "Camera not in use", but not on all of them.

Judging by how all the cars around me were driving (assuming any of them were locals) then I think they're inactive.

Well I'm certainly ignoring them for the time being...

I certainly hope so, as I assumed they were inactive and got a little bored on the way home at 2am a few days ago. Then yesterday I thought..... Oops, what if they weren't, and panic set in!
