When ordering Michelin super sport tyres (or any other brand) I presume I need to ask for AM9s? This is for a V8V.

Also, I disconnected the tyre pressure monitoring system some time ago, presumably if they replace the valves when fitting the new tyre I should keep the old valves just in case someone wanted to reactivate the TPMS?

Many thanks,

You won't find PSS with AM9. AM only 'approved' the Bridgstones.

Theoretically, yes. Although, a) apparently they are quite had to remove without damaging them and b) the batteries might well be dead anyway.

The tyre place will probably assume the sensors are working and so leave them installed.

Just had the rears on my V8V replaced with Michelin Super Sports and then went on the Highland Hoon driving on mainly wet roads and have to say they had amazing grip and were extremely good and way better than the Potenza's - just wish I had done the fronts at the same time, but will now replace them sooner rather than later.
