Anyone know of an AD that has one in stock?

Rare as hens teeth I know but someone may have passed an AD and seen on in the window?

Cheers,

Rick.

Except Blowers isn't an AD, their stock isn't new, but unworn second hand and they are £900 over list.

I posted on the same subject a few months ago whilst working in HK.

I found one in an AD in Mong Kok.

I wish I'd bought it now as the currency was favourable and it worked out at £6.9k.

I'm going back out at the weekend, and may just saunter past on the off chance..

AD status is afforded to those who commit to sell several hundred pieces and usually pass that cost onto customers in some form too, the watches are all the same regardless of outlet.

The watches listed as PreOwned Unworn on Blowers are brand new with seals on exactly the same as you are getting from an AD (plus better coffee and more friendly!) and the slight premium over list is for the availability. A watch such as the Daytona is probably one of the only pieces that a dealer will pay RRP for as they remain extremely popular and always will.

The OP asked about an AD with stock. Therefore assume a new one is required
Blowers isn't an AD.
PreOwned Unworn = secondhand, not new, the 'clue' being PreOwned, unworn is irrelevant.
11% above list isn't reasonable, it's taking advantage of the inpatient (but I will concede no one 'makes' you buy one)

It's reasonable to sell something at a level are willing to pay.

Every Daytona thread ends up going the same way.

Next comment will be someone who knows an AD with several in stock, at a discount.

Comment after is someone asking for proof.

Comment after is a poster in the middle east with no tax and a discount

Comment after is a poster in Las Vegas etc etc...

Just walked past Watches of Switzerland Royal Exchange and they had 4 different Daytonas in the window and 4 years interest free. Not sure if there was a S/S though.

I think they are closed on the weekend but they have other branches. I would assume all branches can access stock though.

Dealers don't pay list for daytonas. To think they do means you know very little about dealing watches

... I think he meant non-ADs buying in preowned / unworn stickered pieces from 'sources' at retail price to flip at a premium to Mr Impulse buy.

At one point Rolex were sending the price list North on a regular basis.
