Sending Alloy Wheels
Discussion
Been after a specific set of alloy wheels for a few months and this afternoon found them on eBay.
Problem is they are about 300 miles away and I don't have the time or patient to travel that far. I'd rather pay someone to do that for me.
Whats the best courier to use to send a set of alloys and tyres.
I could probably get Hermes (oh dear) to send them by putting them through as separate items. Even at the 15kg limit they would probably be around £12 an alloy. Plus for items of any value i'd be worried they'd be half inched.
Just wondering if there is a cheaper method or courier as obviously the PH oracle has the answer to everything (mostly)
All info, advice and general piss taking appreciated.

If you can get the sender to secure the wheels together in two pairs, you can just about send them as two packages, assuming they're under the volume and weight limits. UPS next day from £11.
Have a play around with the quote tool - you should be able to get a pair of wheels done for less than £15, eg. 30kg 55x55x45cm is £13.79. You can be a bit creative with the dimensions and weight, I've taken some liberties with it and never had any issue. Amazing service too, not like these Yodel-esque clowns who sub it out to bored idiots.
