Chaos after M25 crash - J16-17 - Diesel City!!
Discussion
If it starts raining which it looks like it might, when they open this, chances are it'll still be a bloody death-trap - especially for bikers...

Fresh chaos after M25 crash
Part of the M25, closed after a crash this morning, is set to remain shut all day.
The morning peak saw 10-mile tailbacks on feeder roads in Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. Worse congestion was predicted for the evening rush hour.
It is the second time in a week that part of Britain's busiest motorway has been closed after an accident.
Today's jams were caused by a car and lorry colliding between junctions 16 and 17 at Gerrards Cross. Neither driver was badly hurt but 150 gallons of diesel seeped into the road surface. Police said the northbound carriageway would close until at least 5pm while it was made safe.

I guess the crash was caused by speeding as it seems to be the root of all evil at the moment![]()
Without knowing the facts of the incident I can confirm that at least one of the vehicles involved had momentum (aka speeding). Accordingly your guess will be proven to be quite correct.

It was probably caused exactly the same way as the one last Friday.. Vecdeo twat nearly misses his junction whilst on phone, cuts artic up to get to the exit, artic anchors on, loses control and keels over...
I thought artics had all sorts of anti-jack-knifing, ABS and all that sort of safetee gubbins these days anyway???

They do IIRC, but these systems can fail, and, like all 'driver aids' they do have their limits - not even the Skyline can completely circumvent the laws of physics
