How do you check if a person hand CCJ's?

I'm owed some money by a person I did some work for.....it's only a few hundred quid but I'm annoyed that he betrayed my trust as I was gullibl e enough to believe him that he'd pay me as soon as the jjb was done

I'm planning , on a point if principle, to go down the money claim route but I need to make sure he's not one of these p expletive with tons of u ndischarged CCj's against him

How do I check his standing?

Ps I know he has money /assets but I bet he has very little in his name
