The first part of that question is obviously very subjective, but how much do the collective think J55 KRR would b worth and how do you go about moving it on?

There are thousands of J55 registrations available from the DVLA at £250 inclusive of £80 assignment fee. You can also have something like J30KRR for £250.

So I would say it's worth £100.

If it is currently on retention I would say it is worth the £80 refund of the assignment fee you can get.
Alternatively stick it on ebay for a start price of £88 and see if you can better it.
