Anyone replaced 997 Seat Backs?

The plastic seatbacks of my 997 have been scuffed by luggage not being tied down well enough. These are not the body coloured or carbon or leather ones, just the bog standard dark silver painted ones. I was a bit surprised to hear from the dealer that they are something like £280 each. Does anyone have any experience of getting them repainted?
