no extra noise, went for the softer road setting in yellow.

I also fitted monoball rear toe links and RSS locking bolts so nothing moves and no rear steering effect under braking.

don't tell any one you needed top mounts or bush's here, people don't want to spend money on their cars and want to run them into the ground :-)

want to catch me out do you ? ;-pyes It's a sus design, and we all know they all do that, but people who have had new tyres and solid rear toe links have found the hop to be reduced.
if the rears more solid and you have new tred blocks I can see why that might be the case. the wheel cannot move in the bush's and the new bigger tred blocks can move.
there are many post abouthop and so called fixes, here is one to quote
"As some may know I've gone on and on about this dreaded wheel hop problem my car has.
Anyway, a few months ago I fitted Wevo Semi solid transmission mounts. This removed the rubber bushing mount at the rear. The Engine mount was not touched. It improved it a lot but did not fix it completely.
So today I had RSS LCA fitted with RSS Rear toe links. These also effectively removed the rubber bushings in the Arms and links. So now the rear wheels can not lurch forward and stretch out the suspension, which is what causes the hop problem.
The result: FIXED!!!!
The car drives exactly the same as stock but with a bit more precision and I seem to have even more grip on the launch now. "

The vibration on the hop is a resonance effect caused by the change in the toe angle of the rear wheels. The toe angle changes because the rubber bushings flex. Porsche use rubber bushings because it makes the joints damped, smooth and silent.
The new parts dont allow the toe angle to change so the resonance can not start.
I did some extra testing this morning. I'm stunned by how much extra grip I have now compared to before just because the contact patch of rubber to road is so much more controlled and consistent "

Very interesting.
My Focus ST suffered really badly with wheel hop, the engine and suspension movement was so bad that some cars literally spit their driveshafts out of the gearbox.
I poly bushed the lower arms and fitted poly inserts like in the original posters link, 100% cure of axle tramp.
Shame doing the same to my cayman would void the warranty
