steering wheel badge

A mate has just bought a rebadging kit for his VXR8. Since these don't come with steering wheel replacements he is going to make one himself. He has some adhesive carbon effect he is going to use for the background. He is just wondering if anyone else might be interested before he starts.

I have been pestering him to come on here. He reads it just not posts.

Make one from what? Scratch? Or adapting an existing badge to suit the space?

Select 'Tuning Marque 2' from the drop down list
Select the HSV badge
Select your carbon fibre background of choice

this is the web page I used as well, dead simple. the hardest bit was getting the Vauxhall badge out as the rubber on the steering wheel over laps the badge by a few mm, and there are 3no tabs on the back of the badge that need popped out. Use 2 flat head screwdrivers and go easy. (take the fuse out the horn as well or you'll ps off everyone around you!)

This is mine (also from DomedBadge). Is he making them in a similar style, or with the HSV symbol standing proud? (Like the original Vauxhall emblem).

That looks just like what he described making. I am happy with my chicken badge so not going to change mine lol.
