The weather's crap, wet roads and dark evenings and its getting colder. It's tempting to give up on car stuff and wait for Spring. What are you doing in the Winter to get some automotive action?

Car A - Sottozeros on rims, in garage waiting to be bolted onto car again.

Car B - new rims have turned up and I'm just about to order some A/Ts. It's gloopy time. thumbup

Buying winter safe induction kits hehe

Doing interior stuff like a nice retrimmed steering wheel.

Not much cleaning!

Looking at a project, just working out some storage space and how to get power to it first.

I really need to sort out a snapped bolt on an inlet manifold on another car, but seem to lose the will to bother after thinking about it for 5 minutes

Its winter time! Time for a winter V8 Landrover.

This weekend, I will find shelter to fit the Lightbar and LED Lights, Snorkal, Bushcables, and Mud Tyres. Then, I will get my PH fix at 10mph in mud instead!

I'm not riding my motorcycle very much, meaning I'll drive the car lots more

Will clean it often, especially when the roads become gritted

The CRV has fresh Yoko AT tyres fitted and gets used for everything. I'm looking forward to snow this year. The M135i is parked up and won't be being used much. The bikes are tucked away in the garage on optimisers, and i have a 600RR in pieces that i'm putting back together for spring.

Apart from that i'm trying to avoid looking at race series that i might be able to afford to try next year.

Driving, mostly. It may be November but the roads are hardly icing up yet.

The Midget? I've got a B that's my winter project, the poor thing needs a recondition, retrim and respray, there'll no doubt be a bit of tuning in there somewhere smile That's after I change the diff in the Dax. Winter mostly means cold evenings in the garage with the rain drumming on the roof.

MX5 has been sorned (I don't want it dissolving in the British winter)

Plans are:

New tires
Yellow stuff pads all round
New Discs (Maybe)
New brake fluid
Paint rocker cover
New rocker cover gasket
Change the oil
Strut brace up front
Flock some interior panels
Fix the exhaust system
New wheels if funs allow

Should keep me busy and will be ready for some more drift/trackdays next year driving

I don't quite understand the question. Do you mean my "habit" to fiddling with the car? I don't have such a habit. If you mean actual driving, well, my car has a roof so I won't get wet and a heater to keep me warm.

Not much change really, just regular maintenance but doesn't get washed as much.
