as st as it sounds you get what you pay for. The wortecs fit and fit good, there are others available but take your luck with them

Personally I'd give MF or WP a call and let them sort you out, RHD headers are small volume so not much in way of choice

Your other option that's cheaper but very highly recommended is AAS up in Newcastle.

You're unfortunately paying for the R&D of making a complicated item in very small volume frown

Buy some LHD ones off ebay.com and pay someone to modify one or two pipes to clear the steering column. I just bought a set of 1.75" long tubes with a 3" collector for under £200.

Ive recently been in contact with vpw.com.au and they can supply some proflow stainless 1 7/8" headers for 960AUD delivered, taking into account the vat and duty they will work out at about £680 delivered, umfortunately they dont have any stock at the moment

Thanks for the info guys smile what's that all about "7/8" "3/4"? Sorry, don't know much about headers! Also roughly how much are they from AAS? 680 quid for the Australian ones sounds reasonable

Primary size, 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" (a bit bigger). The length of the primaries and the collector size are also important.

I paid £750 for AAS medium headers, made up on a jig and posted (another £500 for the cats). It was a while back though, so prices may be higher now. For long-tube headers I think they will need the car, and reckon on paying a bit more.

Yes but did you get them modified successfully. With all due respect, it's no good advising folk to do this unless it works, and works out cheaper. We need the results???

OP, you might be too late now, but Ringram has just done a wholesale deal with Pacemakers and about ten exhaust systems have been ordered. PM him.

£680? £750? All sounds a lot dearer than £198 (£240 landed) plus some welding.

A set of shiny stainless long tubes plus cats is only £600 plus duties and VAT.

Why wouldn't you?

Hmmm - guess I'm not known for getting results. 1500hp+ from an £8K engine that hasn't blown up yet...

The headers are going up to John's this weekend. Along with the FAST intake, throttlebody and CNC ported heads (which only cost £850 the pair new). The build will be complete over the winter. Maybe in a car next Spring.

I'm rather tempted by AAS, mainly because seeing as I don't need cats I could just ask then to make them all one piece all the way to the wrotec system... but even at 750+ sounds a bit pricey, but I suppose you get what u pay for

I can fully recommend AAS- the quality is second to none. They do have a pretty long waiting list (a virtue of the demand for their work?!), so may be worth getting in touch with them soon.

I think the above is just regarding the headers and no cats.
