Been out the gaming circle for a while. Did have an Xbox 360 but it's time to get a decent gaming machine now!

Anyway, I'm looking at getting the below deal...

http://www.game.co.uk/en/playstation-4-with-grand-...

Does that seem good? I'll be swapping Destiny for BF4 as I loved BF3 on the Xbox.

Also the GTA that comes with it, is that the latest one that's out?

TIA.

Have you looked on http://www.console-deals.com/ps4/ - should give you an idea if it's a good deal.

It looks like a good deal as the PS4 console is about £320, the games and PS+ are £30-£50 each so the bundle price is decent, but whether it's a good deal will depend on what you want and what's on offer.

GTA 5 is due for release next week.

I've been keeping an eye open for deals in anticipation of GTA coming out next week. Bought my PS4 on its own for £289 a couple of weeks ago (deal now expired) because I've gone for bundles previously with the PS3 but never actually played the bundled games much. So my feeling is that it's only a good deal if you were going to buy them anyway.

Current favoured deal is from Asda; a choice of games (including GTA, Far Cry and Call of Duty) with £20 off using the code 'CONSOLE' - that's stated on the relevant page too so it's not a sneaky code which may not work: http://direct.asda.com/PS4-Consoles/AD07011001,def... - takes the price including a new release game to £329. I notice that it doesn't come up on the Console Deals site.

Well I want GTA and I want the live for 12 months. So I'll swap the other 2 games for bf4. I think live for a year is £40, GTA £45 and Zavvi are doing the console only for £309, so £394 total and that'd be without bf4 which is £22 used.

Bear in mind The Last of Us is a download code, so you might not be able to trade that in, depends what the store says. I really would play it though as it's one of the best games ever.

It's Destiny that I'll trade in for BF4.

Destiny is worth about £20 2nd hand now (I know I sold mine on ebay recently).

Personally I wouldn't buy from Game - they're never competitive on price.

I got my PS4 plus Destiny for £320 from Asda - check out hotukdeals for console deals, you must be able to find it cheaper in multiple places than Game.

Also, take a look at http://www.myps4deals.co.uk .

The prices and deals always seem more accurate than console deals. Price are going up as Xmas approaches, the cheapest I can see the Destiny bundle is £340 from Amazon. There's nothing at Asda now for less than £350.
