People who "waft" around in crappy old sheds
Discussion
I understand the joys of "wafting "along in a classic car appeal to some. I have a nippy little classic myself that doesn't do wafting as such but each to their own. What gets my goat is people who buy travesties like Rover 75s and potter about like they are being chauffeur driven, generally driving at say 20 in a 30, 30 in 50 etc etc. Older honda saloons, old 5 series beemers etc just seem to attract a certain style of driver and driving thats just bloomin frustrating to all stuck behind em. Or is it just me?

Why is a rover 75 a travesty ?
Not exactly a classic , not even a great car, and usually in context when being driven annoyingly by someone who appears to believe they are in a classic roller or jag, pottering down a sweeping gravel drive when actually they are holding up a line of cars wanting to actually drive to the road speed posted. That sort of travesty. The car often polished to within an inch of its life. Just an observation about a common frustration thats all. Might just be me!Dont lets focus on the Rover75 itself. Its more the type of driver and style that buys any older salooner barge and drives in that manner with a queue of cars behind em. Usually on a nice twisty coastal road or peak district run. Many modern drivers cant or won't overtake them and its like following a funeral hearse. Bless em
