Why does my reply end up in the wrong place?

Why is it when I log in and reply to a topic it randomly posts in a thread I posed in ages ago.... This has happened a few times now.

Is this straight after login, or at other times.

If the former then I am guessing that the system has got stuck working out where to return you too after login, and thus opening the reply screen for another post. Will have a look in the backend to see if I can clear it in the morning.

It is straight after loging in. So I will be reading a post (logged out) press reply to topic, login, return to topic reply screen, submit and then it will reply on a thread of "my first car" (or something similar). Happened a few times now.

Have cleared any return URL path in the database, but might be worth clearing your cookies for the site also and that should get you back on track.
