I was recently looking through my cars history file and found a letter that was faxed by the supplying dealer AFN to the cars original purchaser. It turns out that my car was the very last S produced by the factory.

The purchase price was a whopping £70,129.85 !

Now given the price curve that these cars are currently enjoying, and by observing the juxtaposition of the global demand for ACP*, I have calculated that the original purchase price will be eclipsed by the Hexagon Classics/Paul Stephens/SCOM index at precisely 22:47 on the 19th Nov 2014.

Which coincidently happens to be the same time I predict that the current Mrs Sultana will summons your faithful servant to the bed chamber.

No ?

Well at last you can rely on your ACP to keep your pecker up.....

Lovely car, but presumably the definitive answer would be in the VIN.

Can't be that difficult to find out the final production VIN for the 993 and then see if it matches

It would be a surprise if it was a rhd car, although the Factory did used to build a lot of UK cars prior to the August shut down to accommodate our, then, 1st August registration change over.

Here is some Rennlist talk along the same lines-
I always thought Jerry Seinfeld had the last 993 but maybe that was the last to go to North America:

Yes that is the one I was referring to ie it was a 4S ;-)

I think the op needs to be more specific re his claim eg last S (ie 2S) and / or last RHD (UK spec C16 or all RHD) or worldwide ? It certainly was not the last 993 or widebody.

The letter I referred to was a purchase acknowledgement for an S. It made no reference to being C16, RHD, or otherwise.

I did not suggest it was the last 993, nor have I checked the validity of the dealers patter.

Oh well, only 2 days to go.
