I took my Blancpain for an official service at the end of May and after several promises of it being ready 'soon' only received it this week. Even then, they denied having received it, despite them telling me they had it when I called them last week. They only admitted having it when I told them in a slightly raised (but calm) voice, how annoyed I was with the wait. It then transpired that they had just not gotten around to 'doing the invoicing'. They then tried to charge ne again for the deposit I had given them!
When I got it, the only paperwork I got was a till receipt. The chap next to me got a letter on headed paper from IWC saying what work was undertaken on his watch but I got nothing. When I told them I wanted something they said it would follow 'by email'. I called them just now (2 days later) and they said that they had emailed Blancpain and were waiting for paperwork, but 'some companies don't send anything' and if that was the case, they'd email me something from themselves. it does sound like the usual disorganised nonsense from them.
Has anyone else heard of not receiving paperwork after an official service?
I can't say I'd recommend them. The chap even told me my watch was a 21mm lug width and they didn't have any suitable straps, but it is clearly a 20mm width!!!

They were fairly clueless when we took the good lady wife's Cartier in a couple of weeks ago for a new strap

Not what one might refer to as a first class service to be frank

Similar service when ordering a new panerai strap,
When contacted they kept putting me through to stimpsons the key maker at other end of basement, then tried charging get me a fortune to send it to me when I ordered it in person and paid in full asking for it to be sent out as I had no want of returning to the big smoke

Over a week later and I'm still waiting for them to send the paperwork so I've contacted Blanpain direct. I' chased them again today and the manageress, Charlotte, said it would be another week! I'll give them a week and then contact the MD and tell him or her what a bunch of plonkers they have in their service dept. it's really like they either don't give a damn or are utterly clueless.
