Thats 3 of us then, mine been like it for years, but my screen has more bullet holes than a Palastine school building so as soon as I renew my insurance (2 weeks) the robbing gits are getting stung for a new screen, and I'll cough up for the new leather (well plastic leatherett) any one had any quotes for this work, the TVR dealer's price seems a bit steep

SHG told me that new windscreens were non existant, and that TVR didn't seem to care. Do you have one on order yet? How much?

Mine has thousands of tiny little specs that were caused by sand, etc. It also has a little bit of delamination , so I was think about replacing it.

YUP, my leather is peeling off too at the top of the windscreen (and down one side too)....was like it when TMS delivered the car, but they have agreed (well verbally) to put it right during the service, so we'll see.

As for TVR windscreens, I spoke to a man from RAC Autoscreens, he said they had fitted a TVR Chimeara not that long ago with a new screen, didn't say they were getting rare or anything, just a b1tch to fit properly.

I had heard that they were off another car... dare I mention what I was told? (Capri!)

I'm getting a bit sick of Chimaera parts becoming unavailable. Now 7 spokes, vacuum advances, windscreens, engine mounts, V8s etc etc etc. What are they playing at, and why has noone jumped on this as a nice little earner?
