Looking for some opinions.

I've ordered some carbon bits from OYA and they will arrive early December. I've ordered mirrors, strakes, front splitter (not v-spec), N420 diffuser and rear light inserts. The parts I know I'm going to fit are the N420 diffuser and the splitter and these will be done when I get my stage one upgrade from BR in mid Dec.

If I go for the rear light insert I'm thinking of wrapping the roof and boot like the V12VS here http://youtu.be/OQicdoybf18 in gloss black. My car is the same colour as the one in the video. What are people's thoughts on this? Is it too much or is it more modern? My car is a 2010 4.7.

I think wrapping the roof looks very pretty - not sure about the boot option.

Do what YOU like and don't worry about what other people may think. I think that looks good and with a wrap it's easy to change your mind. Go for it I say

I'm with konrad, roof looks good but i don't like the boot section.
also agree with Tony though, your car so have it the way you want it.

I chose to paint my roof black, so pleased with it:

I like the wrap around the window trim. How much should this cost? I've been quoted £190 inc VAT for a gloss black roof.

Price wise I paid for a few other bits so it was a "job lot " what I like about wrapping is that if it's done well it's removable without causing any damage. There are stories of people who have removed wraps and had paint damage but that usually because it's either been resprayed at some point and maybe the owned wasn't aware and they just didn't know or just badly applied and the paint wasn't properly cleaned prior to applying the wrap. Also if your car is just left outside in direct sunlight that can also make it harder to remove so keeping it garaged helps. This is more the case in hotter climates. " so I have been told"
It's just another way of making your car personal to you, not everyone's cup of tea but for some who may sell at a later date it does seem a good option. And one other thing it also adds a extra layer of protection as most of the good wraps are made by 3m who make venturshield and other paint protection products.

For quality, it is my opinion that the wraps I had seen looked a little tatty with lifts near the edges on the roof. I therefore wanted a beautiful high quality finish like I imagined it could be from a factory supply. I was confident this was a cosmetic change I would want to keep.
An important addition I made to the paint, was the application of a clear self-healing film with PaintSheild, using their template designed to fit the roof exactly with no overhang. This meant the gloss black stayed gloss black and hopefully won't get damaged by bird pooh etc.
