Hi there,

Looking to buy a hot hatch next year, wanting German and have a good budget to spend. What are your thoughts on the Audi RS3, A45 Amg, M135i or even the TT RS.

Cheers.

Have you heard of the MX5? It'll blow your mind, google it.

M135i is highly rated, also what about the new Golf R?

I'd personally be swayed to the RS3, abit more practical than the TT but still as fast in the real world.

335d did cross my mind, as did the A5 3.0tdi. MX5 isn't really for me as I'm wanting a German car. The M135i looks to be a bargain and puts up a good fight against the RS3 and A45 AMG despite being a lot cheaper. I love the sound of the RS3 and looks to be fast as fk. Any thoughts of the A45?

Cheers.

I'd look at the A45, Golf R or M135i

No interest in the Audis personally.

Quite like (some) Audi's.

RS3 too old tech, in all the wrong areas. New model, in the new platform, will be clinically efficient.....

Fun?

I like the RS3. But then I'm still in the honeymoon period with mine so maybe I'm biased...

Chris Harris reviews M135i and RS3.

IIRC RS3 looks like a bag of ste in comparison.

I've seen that review, can pick an M 135i up for around £24,000. I guess the only way I will know for sure is by test driving them all.

Cheers.

I am very tempted by the A45 AMG, its performance figures look crazy, but is it really worth £40,000??!!

Cheers.

I've been in one. Unreal. Made my Evo feel sluggish and picked up incredibly quickly. I reckon it could give my daily a run, and i ride a GSXR 1000 as my daily..

M135i is quick, but not brutal like the Merc. Personally though I'd save the money and get the BMW which is 90% asgood most of the time.

Am I alone in thinking the M135i is one of the ugliest cars on the road?

I'm sure it's a great steer, but I couldn't live with it.

Awesome. If you had the extra cash would you go for the Merc? Exhaust parps some decent.

The RS3 isn't too popular then?

Just test drove the A45 and the M135i, loved the Merc, real fun to drive and is like a rocket ship. The BMW however was not in the same league as the Merc. Felt sluggish!

Cheers.
