What white open sports car did Michael Caine drive in "The Battle of Britain"?

The car in the film is an Alvis 12/60. It had been rebodied as a special. The car was for sale a few years ago. https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/16508/lot/140/

So the mascot would be the Alvis Hare.
