I have set up a small manufacturing unit in India and would like to add a few CCTV camera's that I can access from an Apple Device or Mac here in the UK so that I can see what is going on there. I think 5 camera's would be enough to cover all area's but need something with sound and a clear pic so 720P or even 1080P is a must. It needs to be an easy plug and play type of set up as will need to have it shipped over and installed by someone out there.

Any ideas?

Each camera will have an IP address needing to be setup.
The router in India needs the ports to be configured to allow you see the cameras

The setup is straight forward though.

Consider hosting option too. - e.g. www.mangocam.com

Have a look at the Samsung CCTV on our site, it's not HD but it's a decent pic, pre plugged cables and simple to use

My background for 20 years was electronic security mainly alarms but with a bit of CCTV so I know a bit about it, we are a Samsung dealer and when they bought out a simple system and a few other things we stocked it because the Samsung home automation kit is coming soon and THAT is some thing I am very interested in.

Thanks chaps - found a local New Delhi based company who today installed 5 HD camera's and sorted out a hosting site blah blah at a very good price - very pleased so far! Easy access from Apple Devices smile
