Sagaris at the NEC?
Discussion
hi, you`re most welcome, glad she enjoyed it, I hope
I had a very busy 3 days, 8 rides on Friday, lost count after 15 on Saturday, and must have been at least 10 or more today, I was told I was booked out for the whole day on sat and sunday by 11am
a great feeling to take these people out simply because they love a TVR, also giving rides were 2 cerberas, a lovely purple t350, a yellow griff, and zippee with his rather loud t350, great times .
one of my favourite passengers was a fairly big fella who squeezed himselve into the car and told me to do what I liked, as he had a 350bhp imprezza,
well that was like showing a red rag to a bull,
he loved it a squeeled like a girl once I hit the loud pedal
Can I add my thanks to that, I was your 10 o'clock Sunday passenger. First time in a TVR, so I thought I'd start at the top. Hope The Sporting Bears raised a fortune.
Also, as a non TVRCC member and non(but eventually to be) TVR owner I was impressed with the helpfulness of the members on the stand, all looking very smart and approachable in their matching shirts. Thanks to the chap (Ian?) who owns the mint condition S2, who couldn't have been more open and helpful to pass on his knowledge.
Cheers all!

We always aim to please! Glad we were able to answer your questions and look forward to you joining the fold in due courseBest regards
It made a welcome contrast to many club stands where the members sat round in folding chairs and spoke only to each other. The professional quality of the TVRCC stand itself, the 'Roaring Back' shirts and obviously the awesome cars showed others thay way to go.
Mind made up, wife told (I am taking her silence as a sign of approval) and just a few more pounds to be saved then I will be looking for an 'S'.

Not many pictures of Sporting bears here, but I caught a few...

Having spoken with Steve on the TVRCC stand, I think we've been missing a trick in regards to working the Sporting Bears and the TVRCC in tandom at the NEC Classics.
Next year I will pass on a list of the TVRs giving dream rides with the Bears to the club stand, so if anyone visiting the stand has an interest in a particular model, they can be given the opportunity to have a passenger ride in one. In turn, I'll also get the Bears with TVRs to make sure they all encourage their passengers to pop over to the stand to have a look at all the models etc.
Win, win.

Works well! I did this last year when I had my MK1 Tuscan on the club stand. I had a copy of the details for a friends Tuscan that was with the sporting bears anyone showing an interest was sent his way, needless to say he was V busy the bears did well, as did the local petrol stations
congrats on this years total

Nice shot of me being chatted up by Clives missus on the 2nd video Had a great day on the Saturday and was out pretty much most of the afternoon. Great fun, if a little tiring but well worth it.

My goodness - just looking at your profile to realise you own the T350T that is in sporting bears! Brings back memories, my first dream ride was at the NEC in 2010, I took a ride in a red Ferrari 360 Spider F1 and we raced you and a KTM X-bow. I remember exactly how amazing your car sounded, awesome car!Had a great day on the Saturday and was out pretty much most of the afternoon. Great fun, if a little tiring but well worth it.
Also, I took a ride in Benn L's Tuscan in 2012. Probably weird because neither of you will remember, but I do

Well, I did get into David's McLaren on Saturday, and he recognised me from a dream ride in his Gallardo in 2011!
That would have been Baschi's (Harsh on here) 360 I believe - I remember having fun with him and the KTM which may also have been his IIRC.
I've done every NEC since 2009 barr last year and loved every one. My car will have changed a bit since the run with the 360, more power (courtesy of a TVR Power 4.3 rebuild) and more noise - 131.2db to be precise
