About a year a go I bought a Karcher pressure washer to clean my decking - which it did very well. As my van is caked in mud after driving through Dorset back lanes I thought I'd try the Karcher on it. It came with the spares in this link:

I initially fitted the rotating triangular ended attachment, but when I tested it on my fingers it nearly blew them off! I Googled this and found it is designed to clean stonework... so I guess would strip my paint off pretty effectively too. I then tried the handle without any attachment but it was less powerful than my garden hose. I do have a brush attachment but would rather blast the mud off than rub it in. Which attachment would you guys recommend for powerful car washing?

Nothing from karcher domestic range will remove car paint work

i have a big petrol powered beast and that won't take the paint work off my crappy old rusty shed

Vario is about £10 on eBay

Anyone but the dirt blaster as it will strip your paint
