Recorded turbo failures on Saab TTID?

Hi guys, i own a 2008 twin turbo diesel 9-3 Aero.
Its coming upto 100k. I was wondering if anyone has heard of either of the turbos being FUBAR?
Car seems to pull like a train and its not had an easy life to be honest.
Deciding whether to chop it in and buy a petrol CRV instead for the wife or to drive it into the ground.

I have a Saab 93 TID on a 10 plate with only 37k on the clock and my turbo is sounding like a police siren.
I have googled it and it seems a fairly common fault although everyone seems to live with it!!
I spoke to a saab specialist who said it was the fins in the turbo, he said they are tuned when they are fitted and probably something has gone through the turbo and knocked it out of tune!! Not sure if it is BS or not....he did offer to fit a recon turbo for £500 ish
Not sure if that helps or even if it is the same engine!!
