Portable screen to hide car in bubble
Discussion
Hiya
I want to buy a Carcoon bubble to put on the front drive to put my TVR into over the winter months. My wife isn't happy about the eyesoreness of the bubble (in fairness they aint too pretty). She would be up for it if we can hide it with some sort of portable (garden-style) screening that I can move about to get the car in and out.
Anyone got any ideas for this sort of thing? Perhaps there's a company out there selling exactly that (although I couldn't find one).
Here's the criteria:
1. the bubble is 4.7m long and 1.7m high. I only need to worry about 1 long length.
2. screens must be fairly portable so I can move them about to get the car in and out of the bubble
3. screens must be freestanding and stable enough to withstand (light) winds
Sensible and practical suggestions will be very welcome.
Many thanks

I'm a builder so the immediate solution would be Heras fencing (available used on Ebay) clad with the lightweight bamboo or similar.
It's easily portable single handed (by a male) and very strong.
I've clad fence panels onto mine to form temporary fencing to hide building work from prying eyes - but they are then very heavy.

Planters and Trellis if you have space on the width.
You could put the planter on castor type wheels to move around. She gets extra green stuff to plant and admire.
They do move and flap quite a bit in high winds, mine has even lost the connection to the fan.
Noise wise not too bad like a quiet hairdryer. I would also get some rubber mats for the Tyre footprint or
axle stands,as mine started show wear marks on the base. I got a couple from B&Q and cut them to size.

I was thinking of buying one of these but was worried about the wind causing the bubble to possibly chaff against the car in the wind.Noise wise not too bad like a quiet hairdryer.
Is this a possible problem?

So far the only problem I have had is the space for the car in quite narrow, Is this a possible problem?
and the carcoon has rubbed against the corner of the house wall. I have used a wedge of foam
to counter this. The carcoon is double skinned and is fairly rigid, so I guess if very high winds
say 50 knots there could be some "slap" against the car, but have so far not seen any marks on the paintwork.
