Have any 993 owners had an issue with road-railing, i.e. when you have a grove in the tarmac it almost yanks the car from your control to follow that groove?. I can understand why it happens in principle but never before have I owned a car where this effect is so frightening. My 993 literally feels and responds to every pebel in the road. It's great having feedback from the sterring but as I say this can sometomes be scary. Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Normal. Applying pressure (pushing) gently on the wheel helps.

If treads, pressures and geo all OK then it sounds like the car's giving you all you need.

18s are more susceptible to this than 17s, and your alignment can certainly exacerbate the tendency ...

But generally the slow lane on motorways is best left to the lorries that create the ruts !
