Snot??

So today I appear to be coming down with a cold, as such my nose is running like nobody's business

My question is where the hell does all the snot come from and what is it made from?

I've used a full brand new box of tissues in one day, that seems a crazy amount of 'fluid' to be losing

Tell me about it. Spent a couple of hours coughing up all the stuff that had accumulated in my bronchi (lungs) last night. Having finally sorted that around 2am I started to drift into sleep only to be woken again by a grouchy 18 month old. Normally I get the wife to deal with that but she was already tending to our son who'd had a bad dream. Finally crashed out around 4am, up for work at 7am. I feel like ste

Gruesome Snot Recipe

You need:
1 tbsp Gelatine powder
1 tbsp Hot water
2 tbsp Sugar syrup (corn syrup or golden syrup)
Food colouring
A plastic container/bag
Paint brush or dropper

Making your own snot:

1)In your container mix the gelatine and hot water together, stir quickly until the gelatin dissolves.

2)Using a paint brush or dropper add a very small amount of food colouring.

3)Add the sugar syrup and mix until it goes stringy and snot like.

4)Enjoy!

Keep your snot in the fridge or you might find something growing on it!
