Got new 911 plate for Xmas - but can't use it!!

Wife bought me private number plate X 911 X for Xmas. Great gift, but I need a X-reg (2000/2001) or newer 911 to use it!!

I'm a 993 guy, so I have a dilemma - keep it on retention for a few years until a MK2 GT3 becomes affordable - or sell it?

If its got sentimental value i couldn't personally sell it.

If you can afford to keep it on retention... do it

If you find another plate that you can use now... sell this one and buy the other

I saw this plate on E bay Thought it said X9 LLX......

Yep - thats the plate. But I can get it made to read X911X.....

just wish it was p911p!!
