V5 for old car received

Hi All,

I sold my old Corolla a couple of weeks ago, where I traded it in at my local BMW dealership and they said that they would be taking care of the paperwork. However, today I received a V5C for my old Corolla where it still says that I am the registered keeper. Also, I had a private plate on the Corolla which is getting transferred to my new car and the V5 states the original plate that was on the Corolla when I bought it (KB05 ***).

Please give me some insight before I phone the DVLA up tomorrow.

The dealer have had the old plate moved from the Corolla to whatever it's going on.
Next step will be to shove the car into an auction.

You really didn't want it going to auction with your private plate on, did you?

Just pop in to the dealer with that V5C.
