Possible to raise a Cayman from 211 to 245hp?
Discussion
Hi,
I'm based in France and looking to buy a 2008 Cayman.
But it's from Belgium where many were sold at 211hp due to tax reasons. Same 2.7 lump, apparently same torque curve, just lower max power.
Does anyone have any idea how this restriction might have been done, and how easy it would be to remove it?
Many thanks for any help,

Just buy an S surely? Or am I missing something?
I'm not really looking for an S, the 2.7 is fine for me.The advantage of this one is that it's a fair bit cheaper than a 'normal' 2.7
If the cost of bringing it back up to 245hp from 211 is below 2000 Euros then I'm quids in.
Moreover, it's a very nice example, low mileage, plenty of options, etc.
