After the mess that PH classifieds has become with huge adverts, annoying sidebars that make scrolling jerky & slow, 'jumping' pages meaning you inadvertantly click on an advert - I have now rediscovered the joys of a car classified site that works. Autotrader used to be awful in my opinion (maybe its not changed actually), but in comparison to how PH classifieds is these days, its amazing. Their mobile site is a joy to use too.
PH should take note of how it should be done.

Auotrader isn't great but better than the mess on here.

It is a shame, I was selling a VERY cheap bargain bike trailer and put it on here for £80, hoping to sell to a forum member perhaps as it was a deal; Ad ran for 6 weeks, absolutely not one sniff, call or anything. Weird thing was, there were people on Biker Banter forum, posting about looking for trailers, but I was nto allowed to link the ad etc, but it shows that no one on the forums bothers to look on here anymore.

In the end I sold it on the bay for a tenner more, in 17 minutes!

The classifieds are just terrible nowadays, I just dont bother looking on there anymore, and I am sure I'm not alone in that opinion.

In the 10 years I have been on this site I have never complained about it, until now.

PH classifieds is now just a joke. Yesterday while looking at Mustangs, I heard loud voices coming from somewhere on my pc. It took me a few moments to realise what was going on. It was the preview for a Jude Law film!!

Have to agree with this sadly. PH classified was the 'go to' for the last decade. I spent countless thousands of hours browsing it, but the changes and the advertising have made it deeply unpleasant on both tablet and desk top. Perhaps it's fine if you're using the (slow and clunky) drop down menus to zero in on a specific car, but browsing for ideas just doesn't seem catered for.
The autotrader app has it nailed - fast, slick, very straight forward. I notice autotrader has more and more exotic cars on it every time I look - think it's safe to say PH is no longer necessarily the default choice...

Every time I try to have a browse I realise my mistake, page moves around so you hit the wrong button, adverts everywhere, slow to load, totally frustrating. I no longer advertise with PH, I use a classified on ebay instead.

However this comes up time and time again and nothing gets done about it. I feel PH is getting the life sucked out of it in the name of 'ad revenue' presumably because of Haymarket's involvement. Sad.
