Do RockShox Reverb seatposts rattle once they're worn in?

Had 2 now, one original back in the UK and one Stealth that I've had in Oz for over a year now. Used all the time, in dust and mud, and I race a bit so it gets used a lot.
It needs a bleed due to shortening the hose, but absolutely no issues whatsoever. I can't recommend them enough. If you can, get a stealth model.

On both of mine there is very slight side-to-side play however you don't notice notice this when riding, only if you hold the saddle. Silent in operation and very reliable.
Same here. Chose reverb over the Giant one when I was looking. Do keep it topped up to 250psi though. Got a right hand lever mounted upside down on the left, so it doesn't get damaged if I turn the bike over.just to suggest another option for a dropper post - the ks lev.
i've had mine over a year and it has been faultless. they system is cable operated as opposed to hydraulically operated, so it is more simple to maintain (not that i have had to do anything to mine).
my post doesn't rattle and reverb owners that i ride with have commented how much smoother the movement of the post is. also the button to operate can be placed left or right on the handlebar and it not 'large' like the reverb which can result in some cases in damage when having the bike upside down when fixing a puncture.
it's def worth considering.

I've had a couple of KS posts, as above they both ran smooth - I found my latest one started get clogged with mud and stopped working - nothing that a good clean / maintenance wouldn't resolve - there were "mud guards" supplied which help a little.
I'm now on my second reverb - my first one (on a different bike) ended up dropping about an inch when sat on / pressure applied - sent it back to RS and they replaced it with a new unit which I sold as a new bike was on its way with another fitted - I don't know what caused the issues with the first but it lived outside on the back of my camper for 5 months and that was the only problem I had with the bike in that time..
I'd recommend both - just keep on top of maintenance on the KS posts (keep cable lubricated / running free) - neither have excessive play after a bit of use.
